In this chapter, William and Katie finally arrive at Natasha's birthday party, where they meet Debbie, Lily, the snotty birthday girl herself, and her obnoxious jock boyfriend Roger. True to his promise to Katie, William poses as the "cheating boyfriend", making advances at both Debbie and Lily, though it is hard to tell whether this is all just acting or at least partly genuine.
